What happens in an art session ?
Each lesson is set to encourage children to experiment with colours, textures and making marks. They discover that sometimes the process of art making can be more important than the end product, encouraging free expression and confidence in their artistic abilities.
What sessions are available?
Mini Makers Studio run classes for 1-2 year old children once weekly, and classes for 2-5 year old children three times a week.
Sessions are held on Wednesday’s, every week throughout the school term.
1 year old – 2 year old sessions:
Mini Makers Studio, 1 – 2 year old sessions are specially programmed for those babes who are increasingly ‘into everything’. In order to nurture their curiosity our sessions provide safe ‘hands on learning’ about the world around them with no stress or mess for you.
Messy play is not only great fun but is a perfect way for your child to learn new skills; such as learning to share, make new friends, develop greater confidence and independence, and increase language and communication skills.
Each week the children, and parents, have fun being immersed in our mini messy play stations and creative sensory play activities. The children have fun discovering new textures, sights, colours and sounds! We know that all children are unique and are individuals in their own right, so our sessions allow children to explore and create at their own pace.
We know that your baby and toddler will LOVE this session! And the best part, you can leave the mess behind!

- 40 minute class with a 5 minute tidy up time
- Wednesdays: 9:30am – 10:15am
- Ages 12 months to 2 years of age
- This is a pay by term class. Cost per session is $18 per child.

2 year old – 5 year old sessions:
In our mess-friendly art space, your child is encouraged to explore art and creativity through colour, texture and play with no worries about mess and cleaning up! In this process-based art exploration session, you will bond with your child as you discover fun and exciting art materials, enhance fine motor skills and get messy with non-toxic supplies. Some of the projects will be collaborative between adult and child but most will be watching what your child can do.
Messy ART play fosters your child’s curiosity, imagination and experimentation and practices good concentration. Children are active learners and learn through play. Messy ART play is particularly valuable because it stimulates many of their senses at once.
Children are being creative when they use materials in new ways, combine previously unconnected materials and make discoveries that are new to them, and our sessions allow children to do all these things.

- 45 minute class with a 5 minute tidy up time
- Wednesdays: 11am, 12:45pm & 2:15pm
- Ages 2 to 5 years of age
- This is a pay by term class. Cost per session is $18 per child.
- Dress to get messy!!!!
- Limited to 10 children

What is the cost of a session?
Bookings are on a term-to-term basis at a cost of $18 per session per child. The session price includes class time, the use of all materials, protective smocks for children, aprons for adults & weekly take home playdough pack.

Please note! We can only offer casual positions if there are vacancies within the class. These sessions are $22.00 per child, Payable by Cash. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL!
